AFC Materials Group
Since 1988, AFC Materials Group has specialized in high-temperature and non-stick solutions, building a reputation for manufacturing superior composite materials. They have now positioned themselves as a mainstay of the PTFE and silicone-coated market and provide solutions for an array of industrial applications such as fabric, conveyor belting, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and heat sealers.
Just like ATS24, AFC manufactures a wide variety of Pressure-Sensitive Tapes that are utilized in a diverse range of industries. AFC specifically provides its tapes to industries such as wind energy & composite bonding, flexible packaging, screen printing, textile, plastics, food processing, chemical processing, and electronics.
Their tapes come under the trade name DuraStick® and come with various adhesive systems. They also come in a variety of proprietary coating formulas that have solely engineered for various applications. The tapes range from supported and unsupported PTFE Tapes to Kapton® Film and Glass Cloth Tape.
Their headquarters is Lake in the Hills, Illinois but to meet global demand and support global markets, AFC has factories set up in Mexico and Italy. They also have a Special Belting Division and Distribution Centre in Bennington, Vermont.
