GFA Certified Silicone Rubber Gasket

Silicone Gaskets

Advanced Technology Supply, Inc are industry leading Silicone Gasket manufactures and suppliers. We also distribute, stock, and fabricate many elastomeric/rubber materials such as silicone rubber sheets, silicone sponges, and foam. Our state-of -the-art, precision gasket cutting machinery combined with our experience means we can provide an efficient and cost-effective service to our customers.

Silicone is known for its durability, flexibility and low compression set in extreme heat or cold making it an excellent gasket and cushion material.. This makes it ideal to be used for electrical insulation as sheets or tape, wire and cable coverings, extruded sleeving and moldings, coated glass-fiber cloths, and other multi-use tapes.

Silicone Gasket Manufacturing

Our Silicone Gasket manufacturing capabilities extend to almost any Silicone gasket such as Solid Silicone Gaskets, Sponge Silicone Gaskets, Silicone Foam Gaskets. We can cater to your design, specifications and quantity level.

Our gasketing materials primarily silicone or silicone sponge provide long term sealing solutions impervious to water, dirt and dust, ozone, UV, as well as many chemicals. Choosing this type gasket reduces costly replacement as the gaskets can be re-used/open and shut due to the material's ability to resist compression set.

These gaskets can operate in temperature ranges from -100F to 500F and maintain flexibility. All these material can be supplied with or without adhesive for ease of application.

Additionally, we have the capability to die cut or waterjet ,these materials to customer's design specification.

Rubber Gasket & Seal Materials

Rubber Gaskets and Seals are rubber products that are used in most industries. We manufacture rubber gaskets to prevent leaks or contamination of the content inside a container. Our highly skilled seal fabrication service ensures that all our rubber gaskets are of the highest standard and their compressibility provides a strong sealing opportunity between two surfaces to prevent water or dust from protruding.

We have a wide variety of industrial, commercial, high-grade, and specification grade elastomers to choose from. Our commonly sold seal and gasket materials items include: fluorosilicone sheet and sponge, urethane foam including Poron micro cellular, neoprene, nitrile, Viton, Ensolite, and others. Our quality rubber gaskets are sold for a wide range of applications across multiple industries.

Silicone Rubber Components – Elastomers, Sponge and Foam

Silicone Elastomers

Silicone Gaskets

These have many benefits over other elastomers

  • Extreme Temperature Resistance for both high and low temperatures, ranging from +230°C continuous to - 60°C
  • Non-toxic
  • Tasteless
  • Odorless
  • Vast reduction in flammable components. If a fire was to take hold, the elastomer will turn to silica ash which is non-conductible
  • Immense environmental resistance against all the elements and UV light
  • Strong compression resistance at high temperatures making it perfect for sealing

Silicone Rubbers

Silicone rubber has a multitude of strong, mechanical properties and advanced capabilities. It is incredible durability gives it longevity which, in turn, earns it trust -- making it an extremely reliable and very popular material. Silicone rubber also offers great electrical insulation and like Silicone Elastomers, has very low flammable components due to its reactivity to chemicals. These qualities are what make silicone an excellent sealing material for a wide range of applications and industries.

We fabricate these materials using single knife slittingrotary die-cuttingsteel rule die cutting, and laminate adhesive. We maintain an inventory of many of these materials for rapid turnaround. Most of the silicone materials can be provided with a standard acrylic or silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Additionally, we can provide many of these materials with a wide variety of PSAs that can be tailored to your requirements.

Silicone Foam

Silicone foam is a lightweight, synthetic rubber product that is mainly used in gaskets and silicone sheets. It can also be used in firestops. Silicone Foam can be open or closed cells, giving it both a solid and liquid state making it incredibly versatile.

Anything made from Silicone foam rubber materials is engineered with long-term performance in mind. This is due to the fantastic range of properties that make it very resilient, especially for outdoor products.

Key Benefits of Silicone Foam:

  • Offers excellent compression set resistance (can rebound to original thickness)
  • A wide operating temperature range (-55°C) to (200°C)
  • UV / ozone resistant
  • Water sealing
  • Dust sealing
  • Dramatically Reduces Vibration
  • UL gasketing

Because Silicone foam gaskets and resilient cushioning pads are used daily across many industries, especially in heavy-duty environments, longevity is paramount and it’s the quality of the seal that allows this.

Our silicone foam, and seal fabrication processes include die cutting, water jet cutting, and roll slitting.

What is Fluorosilicone

Fluorosilicone is an ideal substitute for silicone when improved chemical resistance is needed. It is a variation of silicone rubber that can function in temperatures ranging from -100°F to 400°F, while maintaining excellent high temperature stability and mechanical properties. It offers greater resistance to ozone, UV light, fuel, oil and other chemicals.

What is Solid Silicone Rubber

Solid Silicone Rubber is a saturated polymer elastic material that is used in a vast range of applications due to its range of high-quality properties. You will often find the material in daily necessity products, industrial parts, and the automotive industry. Solid Silicone has no fluidity due to its solid state, this makes it very robust as it’s high-temperature resistant, cold resistant and solvent resistant, and also anti-viscosity. Its other characteristics make it ideal for, electrical insulation and the chemical industry.

What is Liquid Silicone Rubber

Liquid silicone rubber has excellent qualities such as high versatility, solid resistance, strength and high quality. Used in an ever-growing range of applications for a range of markets, it is primarily used in medical devices for healthcare, automotive component manufacturing, electronics, consumer products, gaskets, and more. It is the perfect material choice for injection molding due to it being in a liquid state.

What is Closed Cell Silicone Sponge

The correct technical term for closed cell sponge rubber is expanded rubber. They have several fantastic benefits such as water sealing, a wide operating temperature range from -60°C to 200°C, compression set resistance at high temperatures compared to other rubber materials, and durable, UV and ozone resistance making it perfect for outdoor gasketing. These qualities are paramount to closed cells being used in so many daily applications.
